About the film

'Kung Fu Vettel Drive of the Dragon' introduces martial artist and Hollywood actress Celina Jade in the first of a series of 'Inspired Performances' alongside Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull Racing teammate Mark Webber.

Produced by Red Bull Racing partner Infiniti, the 'Inspired Performer' series will run throughout 2012 and bring together great talents who, like Seb and Mark, have become leaders in their respective fields through hard work, dedication and commitment, giving them the chance to experience each other's disciplines to show them as never before.

The short film has been devised to bring the world of Formula One and China's iconic martial arts together as one, and as Celina and Seb now know, both require very similar skills -control, balance and mental focus to maximise the performance, whether that's a qualifying lap or a high-energy fight scene.

The Premiere

On Thursday 11th May, the first of the Infiniti Inspired Performers film shorts -'Drive of the Dragon' starring Formula One's double World Champion Sebastian Vettel and martial arts actress Celina Jade - was shown at an exclusive preview screening in Barcelona ahead of the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. An exclusive VIP audience enjoyed the three hour event hosted by premium car brand Infiniti, partner of Red Bull Racing.

The venue, Ocana, is one of the coolest spots in the heart of old Barcelona. After a champagne drinks reception, guests from the media, Formula One insiders and Barcelona's elite gathered to enjoy Drive of the Dragon's tongue in cheek tone with all the glory of its homage to 1970's martial arts movies. After its rapturous reception guests were treated to a musical performance by Celina Jade who, more than an actress and a pretty face, can belt out some amazing songs. After all, her first album was released in her native Hong Kong when she was just fourteen. After a 30-minute live set which included two of her own songs, 'Wrong Ideas' and 'Girlfriends' as well as big hits like 'Rolling in the Deep' (Adele) and 'Firework' (Katy Perry), the party raved on with music mixed by Red Bull DJ 'Erok'. Fans are already asking about a sequel in 2013...
